Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

Central Commercial Realty (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website https://www.centralcommercial.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable Canadian privacy laws.

Who we are

Central Commercial Realty is a commercial real estate and business brokerage serving Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Our website address is https://www.centralcommercial.ca.

What information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it or when it is generated automatically by your use of the site:

Contact and inquiry forms. When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or inquire about a listing, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message.

Buyer registration and NDA forms. When you register as a buyer or sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA) to access listing details, we collect your name, contact details, and information about your acquisition interests and financial capacity. This information is required to qualify buyers and protect the confidentiality of businesses listed for sale.

Seller and valuation inquiries. When you request a business or property valuation, we collect your contact details and information about your business or property, which may include financial information such as revenue, expenses, and earnings.

Automated valuation tool. Our online valuation tool processes the business information you submit using a third-party artificial intelligence service (Anthropic) to generate a preliminary estimate. The information you enter is transmitted to that service for processing and is subject to its privacy practices. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing; you may instead contact us directly for a confidential valuation.

Technical information. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical data, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring pages, through cookies and analytics services.

How we use your information

We use personal information to respond to your inquiries; to qualify and match buyers and sellers; to administer confidentiality agreements; to prepare valuations and market analyses; to provide brokerage services you request; to send you information you have consented to receive; and to operate, secure, and improve our website.

We do not sell personal information.

Consent and electronic communications

By submitting a form on our site, you consent to us collecting and using the information provided for the purposes described above. Where we send commercial electronic messages (such as listing alerts or follow-up emails), we do so in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us directly.

Who we share your data with

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services:

  • Within our brokerage — with the agents and staff involved in your inquiry or transaction.
  • Transaction counterparties — buyer information may be shared with a seller (and vice versa) as part of a transaction process, subject to any confidentiality agreements in place.
  • Service providers — companies that help us operate the website and our business, such as website hosting, form processing, email delivery, analytics providers, and the AI service used by our valuation tool. These providers may store or process data outside of Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
  • Legal requirements — where required by law, regulation, court order, or our regulatory obligations as a registered real estate brokerage in Ontario.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. We use analytics services (such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console) that collect anonymized or pseudonymized usage data. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some site features.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content such as videos, maps, listing feeds, or social media posts. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you had visited that website directly, and those websites may collect data about you, use their own cookies, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content.

How long we retain your data

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected, and as required by law. Records related to real estate transactions and confidentiality agreements are retained in accordance with our legal and regulatory obligations as an Ontario brokerage. Inquiry and lead information that does not lead to a transaction is retained for a reasonable period so we can respond to follow-up requests, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including secure hosting, access controls, and encrypted transmission (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights over your data

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, withdraw consent to further use, or request deletion of information we are not required to keep for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children’s privacy

Our services are directed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
